Bike Hire
At Clew Bay Bike Hire we provide only top of the range bicycles and accessories for your cycling needs. We have chosen these for their quality and comfort and we are certain our customers will agree. Helmets, hi-visibility vest, locks, maps and pannier bags are also provided with every rental. To avoid disappointment we advise you to pre-book, especially if hiring Children’s Trailers or Baby Carriers.

Our Bikes and Accessories
Please note we are only a phone call away in the event of any mechanical problems that may arise. For those longer trips or larger groups we will provide spare tyre tubes, repair kits and pumps. Rest assured all bikes are checked before and after every hire for your comfort and safety.
Bike and Customer Drop Off/Collection Service
Courtesy of our 9 seat mini-van and bicycle trailer – custom made to carry 28 bikes - we are pleased to offer a unique and varied drop off and collection service for our customers.
Firstly, allow us to collect you from your local accommodation and bring you back to our shop to kit you out and prepare you for your day’s cycle. If you are availing of a full day bike hire then we will – if you so desire - drop you off and collect you from the Great Western Greenway between Newport/Mulranny or the Louisburgh/Clare Island Loops. Afterwards we can drop you back to your accommodation although most prefer to head straight to one of the local pubs for ‘a well earned refreshment!’
Alternatively if you are staying further afield from Westport in the Clew Bay region we can deliver any bikes, accessories and equipment you may need and can collect them when you are finished. We are able to deliver to hotels, B &B’s, campsites and more although we may need a minimum order of bikes to be hired to avail of this service (dependant on distances from Westport). As we have a large number of bikes and accessories as well as being able to transport both our cyclists and cycles we are pleased to cater for larger groups.
